At St. John Lutheran School your child is taught by called teachers, treasured as God’s own, and grounded in His Word — from infancy through 8th grade. We don’t want cost to keep any family away. Our tuition is among the most affordable in the area — often less than half of comparable area private schools — and many families attend tuition-free through the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program.
Tuition-free through Wisconsin Parental Choice
St. John participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) — Wisconsin’s statewide, income-based voucher program, open to families throughout Sheboygan County. Eligible families attend St. John tuition-free; the state pays the school directly.
Who qualifies? Eligibility is based on household size and income, up to 220% of the federal poverty level. For the 2026–27 school year that is about $70,730 a year for a family of four (about $77,730 if the parents are married), with higher limits for larger families. Your family must be Wisconsin residents.
When to apply: Wisconsin now accepts WPCP applications from February through September, during the 1st–20th of each month. St. John accepts applications February through May, and again in August and September, and can add seats month to month. Apply in any of those windows, or call us to plan ahead.

2026–2027 Tuition
For families who pay privately, our rates are well below area private schools. A one-time registration fee of $200 per child applies (before June 30; $250 after).

What tuition includes
A full day of Christ-centered learning, small classes, daily religious instruction and chapel, and the care of teachers who know your child by name. St. John Lutheran School is NLSA-accredited and admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
